It is nice to read a love story about an older couple. The concerns and fears that Nia and Andrew had are real. Starting a relationship, after being single for a while is scary. Deciding if and when to tell your children or other family members is also a difficult task. J. A. Fielding did a wonderful job merging these realistic decimals with this hot romance story.

I enjoyed Love Over 40 it was a short read but good. I believe that love at first sight exist as it did with Andrew and Nia. This story has death,deceit , denial, lust and trust issues. The book was to short and left me wondering about the what if but. I enjoyed it.
I chose this book due to the title. I felt compelled to read it because I am in my 40's. The characters were endearing. I love how the author dealt with some real issues including religion,death, single parenting etc. I would recommend this book and author to all my friends 40 years old and younger,
I chose four stars because of the content. No drama here, which is just fine. I do like romance with a little adventure or action but this story was to the point and quite sweet. The characters; Andrew and Nia are closer to my age so I enjoyed that aspect as well.
Read this in one afternoon, Nia a trauma surgeon met Andrew and his daughter Lory in a restaurant where she ended up treating a man who had been stabbed by his girlfriend. One thing leads to another and they fall in love. His mother-in-law has some harsh words for Andrew but all in all this was a fairly good story.
Andrew was a direct man who was a great father who was recovering from the death of his wife. His work and women were used to fill the void left in his heart. His daughter was his strength and he was his daughter's strength. He meets a surgeon who wins his heart and he brings life to her. She only works has no life outside her work. They have immediate attraction that rocks each other's world. The journey with his ex-in-laws threatens their happiness but he is man enough to move forward. Great read!!
I think this is a decent start to a second chance at a true loving relationship. Nia is full of insecurities which I feel will take more time to overcome. I don't usually care for storylines which stretch over a few separate books. For the most part I feel it's unnecessary. The sex scenes.. too raunchy for me but the interpersonal dynamics between all the characters are interesting and realistic.
Great story, I wish it been longer and the ending more committed oriented. Andrew and Nia have great chemistry. They are so in tune with each other. I like how Andrew is not a push over, and knows what he wants and goes after it, namely Nia. Nia isn't one who's flighty and all over the page, which made the story believable. This is a great love story between two mature adults.
