Fake Love Peter Styles Books
This is my favorite trope, and Peter pulled it off wonderfully. Nathan was so good to Ethan and it was fun seeing him stand up to both Shirley and Simone. I wish that Simone had acted more contrite when Nathan pointed out how disparaging she was being to Ethan, but...This would have been a five star review if it hasn't ended so very abruptly and before any real resolution occurred. Normally the bonus chapters for being in the author's group are a bit of extra that isn't necessary for a satisfactory end to the story, but I felt that this one needed the extra bit.

Fake Love Peter Styles Books Reviews
Another wonderful book from a great author. I purposefully didn't read the synopsis of this book because I wanted to surprise myself. Only gleaming some idea of the plot from the title of the book, I can say I was in for a real treat. The book moved along quickly, but the characters were developed enough not to leave you wanting for additional layers as sometimes is the case with books of this size. There was a decent amount of comedy in the first part of the book, but I was completely beside myself laughing and crying between gasps for air at one point in the book. I won't spoil it for anyone, but when you get to that scene, you will know what I'm talking about. Peter is a gifted author to be able to wrap real love, genuine angst (not the teenage variety), and some seriously hilarious scenes into a package that feels as well put together as this book. I can't wait for his next piece. Thanks for a great read, Peter.

Can you just imagine going to your own wedding without the groom? Well that is just what Ethan was doing. Nate Sanders proposed to Ethan only to be caught with a woman and broke it off with him 6 weeks ago. Apparently Nate wasn't out of the closet. Ethan's mom Shirley is very conservative and isn't very happy with his love choice but is willing to try and accept it. However she makes everything about her and he suffers from it. Because of this he has not told his mother that there won't be a wedding. He's taking some medicine to keep him from getting sick but also has a couple of drinks. Something that do not mix well. While on the plane heading to Georgia for his wedding a gorgeous stranger sits next to him. Hmm.
Nathan Patterson is a true cowboy. He runs a farm in Texas and all he wants is to own it outright. His surrogate father Frank has made his an offer to find his son and ask him to come meet him. The only thing Frank provided Nathan was the son's first name, his mother's name and the last place he known them to live. As he sits there listening to the man next to him go on and on about his life and why he is going to Georgia, Nathan catches his name. Could this be fate? Nathan just happens to not only be sitting by a very annoying and attractive man but it's the man that he is looking for.
As Ethan tells Nathan the whole story of why he is heading home he starts to feel sick. Nathan has him drink water and get some sleep hoping this will help him but as the plane lands, he has to practically carry Ethan off the plane and through the airport. When he see's Ethan's parents they hear him say that he's Ethan's friend. They immediately assume he's the fiance and oh boy does this story take on a roller coaster of events from there.
I really like this book. It was serious, sad, hilarious, oh man just wait to read about the grandma and the engagement party. The two men learn a lot about what love at first sight means. But the book ended with you wondering so I hope there's a second book to this. It's a great read so please check it out.

I like it the first time I read by another author Denise Grover Swank.
The book was generally good until the ending. I know that it stated there was a free bonus chapter that was not needed to enjoy the book but I must respectfully disagree. The ending was so abrupt that it was jarring as you really did not get the ending you were hoping for without reading t the bonus chapter, which you must send for. INCLUDE IT WITH THE BOOK.
I loved this book from Peter styles. The way Ethan and Nathan meet was fate for them. I felt for Ethan the way his family question and made him doubt himself. Yet what was most the way Nathan defending him and falling in love
Although I'm still not sure about the author, I do know Simone and Ashley have to be some of the worst female characters I've ever read. They are so toxic and horrible. I have to agree with Nathan, how did someone so kind end up with someone (or two someone's) so disgusting? If they treat someone they "love" that way, I feel sorry for every person in that circle. Simone was the worst though. Her actions seemed a bit unethical at the end. Really, why is she in Ethan's life? I really didn't like her.
