Dear Reader,
I have something to confide in you. I think my husband, Dave, might be having an affair. I found an earring in his pocket, and it's not mine. I'm also worried because some jewelry was recently stolen from an old woman—and Dave used to visit her a lot.
You see, he's a pastor. And a good man. I can't believe he's guilty of anything, but why won't he tell me where he's been when he comes home so late?
Reader, I'd love to hear what you think. I also want to tell you what's going on with your other friends in Cedar Cove.
Like Sheriff Troy Davis, to mention one. His long-ago love, Faith Beckwith, just moved here!
So come on in and join me for a cup of tea.
Emily Flemming

I love all the books written by Debbie Macomber. English is my second foreign language. I am still on the phase of learning this language. I wasn't thinking that l could read and understand a whole book in English. I first read a book of her in my own language. After that l could read three other book in German my first second language. The books were available on Amazon. Unfortunately the very last part of the band about Jo Marie and Mark was not translated in German yet. I was so curious that l dared to read it in English. It was very nice surprise for me to understand that well enough. Not only subjects of the books but also using the language and the reminiscent style are perfect for me. I recommend her books to every friend of mine and recommend to read her books in a foreign language to everybody who wants to make progress by learning this language. I can't imagine a better way for learning a foreign language. I am longing for the evenings to be able to read the novels. I am never alone as long as there is still some book written by Debbie Macomber, which l have not written yet.Product details

8 Sandpiper Way Cedar Cove Book 8 (Audible Audio Edition) Debbie Macomber Sandra Burr Brilliance Audio Books Reviews
I chose this rating because of the story. I am glad that the pastor was proven innocent but why would James and for that matter,Faith behave in such unnatural ways. Especially since Their significant others know them so well.
I am really enjoying these books Yes alot of different people in them, but I think that is what makes it good. Yes it is confusing with all the different characters, but you kind of get use to them if you read the books in order, and there is also a list of them in the front and who is who.
There is getting to be something about this series that is bothering me -- perhaps it is reading like it was written specifically to please the Hallmark Channel. the characters are getting a little too predictable -- some of the phrases are becoming too repetitive ('he slipped his arm around her waist" -- is there no other way to express affection??)
Maybe I have just read too many of these back to back -- I need a break!
I have always given five stars to this series but frankly - I think now the series has just gone on a little too long. Time to move on to another town.
This was another good read, not surprising though. They just keep getting better with each book in the series. I am looking forward to
seeing the arrival of the triplets and the marriage of Rachel and Bruce. I was happy to see poor Dave get his life back on track and his
wife have more trust in Him. Looking to start the next book but I may have to wait until tomorrow because it is now 247 AM, and
tomorrow is the 4th of July and I am sure to have company. Happy Birthday America may the year ahead be a whole lot better than the
last 6 have been.
I've loved the Cedar Cove series, but this seems to have been written by another author. I read Macomber because her books are upbeat and uplifting. 8 Sandpiper Way is such a jumble of characters and plots that it was difficult to pick up the story line when I put the book aside for a few days. The most disappointing Christie and James....in a world where people are distrustful and afraid to love, why did she end their relationship in that way? Every description of them pointed to James being a sincere and loving person as far as his feelings for Christie went. It just didn't make any sense for him to leave in that way. The pastor's story took far too many pages; I was ready to jump up and scream myself! Perhaps Debbie has read too many newspapers or watched too much TV herself. The bottom line tedious and boring.
I love her books! I've read ten of her books since May of 2018. As I type, it's October of 2018. Her writing is absolutely excellent! I'll read her books as long as she keeps writing. She has a fabulous talent of drawing in the reader from one book to the other. I love Cedar Cove!! Thank you Debbie Macomber!!
I was lucky enough to start reading D. Macomber Cedar Cove book series from the beginning. She flows from one book to the next that keep you buying them to find out what happens where she left off in the last book. She ties up most ends but always leaves one open. She writes so well that you can't put the book down. It's a page turner. I started reading these because I live in the Pacific Northwest and am very familiar with the area she writes about; know all of the streets and nearby Seattle landmarks she talks about. So that is what interested me to begin with. I wouldn't classify these as romance books but they all have at least one going on. I like the fact that the original cast is still part of each book I read, such as Olivia and Grace.
